Current Mental State: overwhelmed
I've begun the daunting task of packing. I'm happy to report that it is going better than I anticipated, but there's still so much more to do. So far, I've designated one HUGE suitcase for clothing and footwear, another large backpack (used during my first excursion to Europe after college--who knew that I'd be using it again!) for more clothing, and a carry-on sized suitcase for non-clothing items such as toiletries and school supplies. I wonder if T knows he will have the privilege of carrying one of these along with his own suitcase, heh heh.
About the school supplies thing...being a teacher, I have accumulated many folders, binders, pens and pencils over the years. No supply list has been sent to me from my course administrator, so I can only assume what I will need for my classes in London. I've packed my graphing calculator, trusty ruler (with metric measures, naturally), favorite clicky pencil and Uniball inkpens (in a rainbow of colors), and a few legal sized notepads. But beyond that, I will be buying my necessary class supplies in London. If for some reason I need to buy Crayola Classic markers or Elmer's glue, I will be slighly annoyed since I have that stored with my classroom stuff in J's basement.

Can't wait to read more and see some pictures :). I miss you already.

I seem to recall that they use weirdly sized paper in the UK...like A1 or A2 size instead of letter and legal. That sucked because the standard sheets were longer than 8 1/2 by 11, so my 6 page papers had to be longer than the US equivalent. Damn Brits!
